Overall responsibility:

Control all aspects related to Windows and Linux system administration in the Colorado Springs and Austin EM offices, including remote users/sites as applicable with adherence to SGIT policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain on premises windows and Linux servers and workstations including hardware, software, and operating systems (physical and virtual).
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute technology installations, upgrades and maintenance.
  • Create and support user account setup using MS Active Directory.
  • Provide help desk support for end-users, account setup and maintenance. Debug issues (HW/SW), network/VPN connectivity, App installation and troubleshooting. Monitor and resolve system performance issues.
  • Specify and order laptops, workstations, servers, peripherals, and supplies.
  • Install, configure, and deploy end-user HW, SW, printers, OS, applications, and patches.
  • Maintain software licensing, subscriptions, IT inventory, and documentation.
  • Implement IT infrastructure and solutions in accordance with Swatch Group IT policies.
  • Maintenance of variety of EDA tools, design kits, and support libraries.
  • Backup/Restore HW/SW and corresponding disaster recovery/continuity planning, upgrades, and migrations.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with EM HQ IT and Swatch Group IT as needed.
  • IT budget, master plan, and project tracking.
  • New technology testing and implementation.

 

Profile

Education:

  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or significant industry experience can be applied without a degree.

  • As an already experienced CMOS-technologist joining our technology development team, you will be personally involved in initial technology conception, and resulting technology specifications, underlying design rules and also process architecture and definition of mask generation equations. Ultimately you will become owner of CMOS-technology related design- and generation-rules.
  • As active Leader of new technology developments, your main role will be to define and adapt smart test structures to assess process response and device characteristics. You will analyze and interpret your characterization results of devices and test structures from which you will derive tunings and improvements. You already have hands-on experience in CMOS-characterization and even generating and adapting test programs.
  • As partner of process engineering, you will be able to provide guidance-inputs to process engineers in their process optimization tasks.

 

Profil

  • Master degree in Science or Engineering.
