Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Ownership: Define and execute the BU strategy with a focus on long-term profitability, innovation, and alignment with Swatch Group’s watchmaking roadmap.
  • Technology Leadership: Guide the development of ultra-low power ICs for timekeeping, sensor integration, power management, and connectivity tailored to watch applications.
  • Cross-Division Collaboration: Work closely with internal Swatch Group stakeholders to ensure technology alignment and seamless integration into watch products.
  • Emerging Market Expansion: Identify and pursue opportunities to apply watch circuit technologies in adjacent domains beyond traditional watchmaking.
  • Engineering Management: Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Innovation Pipeline: Drive new product introductions and internal go-to-market strategies, ensuring EM’s leadership in ultra-low power design.
  • Ecosystem Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external partners to co-develop solutions that leverage EM’s core competencies.

  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability, with a proven ability to lead in a matrixed organization.
  • Deep understanding of ultra-low power IC design and its application in watchmaking and emerging markets.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management across technical and executive levels.
  • Open-minded, inspiring, and effective in managing cross-functional and remote teams.
  • Fluent in English; French or German is a plus.
  • Willingness to relocate to Neuchâtel, Switzerland is essential.
