Job description
As a member of the EM\'s Marin-based team, he/she is tasked with conducting firmware development for sensor IC products for consumer and automotive applications created by the BU Motion & Optical Sensing.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Strong firmware development skills in achieving schedule and performance
- Structured and organized approach to developing and verifying code architecture and implementation
- Technical interface with EM remote design teams
- Support the BU technical leader in product definition including technical analysis
- Interface with Quality, IC design teams, customer FW technical staff
Profile
- MS or + 3-5 years of experience in relevant field
- Equivalently, PhD-level background in matching field
- Team player with ability to contribute to a multi-disciplinary team in a constructive and data-driven approach
- Used to work in multicultural, multi-site team environment
Professional requirements
- Experience in all aspects of embedded firmware development, on different MCU platforms
- Solid background in coding standards and tool chains
- Experience in industry software standards and validation approaches
Advantage / welcome plus would be:
- Prior experience in automotive code development (Aspice)
- Prior experience in sensor-oriented component and system functions

Languages
- English (at C-level) required, French and/or German helpful
Ability to communicate with clarity and precision when interacting with internal external groups (and with customers when needed)
