Job description

To lead the technical activities in Business Unit Smart Systems (BU SSY), we are looking for a motivated, dynamic, and hands-on Technical Manager.

You will be working with the BU Manager to take the team to the next level and to shape the SSY product and technology roadmaps.

An eye for detail is important, and so is the capability to establish state- of-the-art design and verification methodologies as well as modern project management techniques.

Responsibilities:

• In charge of all the BU\'s projects and products as a technical manager
• Leading the product development team and mentoring junior team members
• Definition of product and technology roadmaps, including innovation management and technical benchmarking vs competition
• Concept feasibility studies, technical risk management and specification management
• Making sure the products fulfil specifications. This involves overseeing all design, layout, verification, validation, qualification, testing and production ramp-up activities
• Being the BU main technical interface for products in mass production
• Representing technically the BU together with the BU Manager in front of the EM Management, at customer visits and trade shows
• Assessing from technical standpoint the quality and capabilities of external suppliers
• Interacting with Sales teams, providing the required information and documentation to accompany products in the market
